WiFi only Galaxy Tab in Q1 2011 says Samsung

WiFi only Galaxy Tab in Q1 2011 says Samsung: "

Galaxy Tab

We all know and love the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but many of us have been holding out for a WiFi only version.  The wait is over, as Samsung announced that they plan to make a WiFi only version available in the US during first quarter of 2011.  They give no clue on pricing, or availability, but I expect we'll see the 3G free version at major big box retailers some time in the near future, and with the prices of the 3G version dropping, let's hope Samsung can hit a sweet spot for the price point.

We're seeing a lot of new tablets at CES already, and I can't help but think this would have been a better move on Samsung's part a few months ago.  We'll just have to wait and see how the other tablets match up in features, and more importantly -- if they get Google's blessing.  Read the full press release after the jump.
